Time management games are becoming increasingly popular as they are an activity that teaches you how to make better use of your time and increase productivity in a fun way!. There are different time games, from “real world” games to software both online and offline. Here you’ll find some ideas to start playing.

When choosing a time management game, you’ll have to ensure that it will indeed be seful and not just another way to waste your time. Sometimes people lose focus of the goal of these games, and this is counter-productive.

The best games to learn about time management are the ones that involve competition.  A victory - even if there is no prize to win - makes the game more fun and challenging, and will make each participant give their best. Remember also that these games need to be suitable for the environment they’re taking place in.

For example you can make people compete in different departments, or the managers of each section to make the most out of them.  Now for the game, you should set up a task.  Each team now will need to create a time chart for the tasks, determining how much time they will need and breaking down the tasks in smaller steps.  After that, each time will need to explain their chart and make their point in why their system works better, with proof of course.

Yu can also try time management games in the form of software.  There are many great games out there that put you in charge of tasks for a limited amount of time. Although some settings are just for fun, you can learn from these games how to work fast and focus on the task at hand.  Now you’ll just need to translate your thought into real life.
